Well we decided our dog needed a dog!!!  So, yesterday my husband, Bob, adopted Duke.  We aren't totally sure what kind of pit he is, but we do know he was rescued from a fighting farm and he's about 5-6 months old.  The woman we bought him from had rescued him, but her pit just had a litter of 11, so she was going to put him down in the next week or two if she couldn't find him home.  So Bob scooped him up right away.  The 2 of them (Dollar & Duke) get along so well.  They run and play.  Though we think Duke never had any toys cuz he is not quite sure what to do when we through things for him.  He just watches Dollar chase it and bring it back.  Anyhow, if you could post this new pic of the two of them, that would be great!!!  Dollar is the black one and Duke is the white/brindle.  Owners once again are Bob and Merrie!

 

 

My twin sister is Megan, companion to Brutis & Betty.  Today we got 2 offers to buy pits, but my husband Bob said the only way he's getting another dog is if it's free.  Not even an hour later, there was a knock at our door.  Our friend could no longer keep his dog, Dollar, a Pit/Black Lab mix.  He's a year and a month old.  We were soooo honored that he thought of us first.  So we said yes, in a heartbeat.  We've had him for about an hour and already can tell this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
